We are a well established practice made up of skilled and specialized clinicians seeking to contract Independently Licensed Clinicians, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Licensed Dietitians/Nutrition Counselors, and Peer Support Specialists. The ideal candidate has a passion for and experience/training in treating first responders, combat veterans, and emergency medical personnel; is trained/credentialed in a trauma focused, evidence based treatment modality such as EMDR, PE, Brainspotting, etc.; is well organized and able to manage their time effectively.

Private Practice Without The Hassle
Work From Home
Joining our practice as a contractor allows you to make your own schedule and focus on the work you love to do. You can work as much or as little as you would like, and focus on the kind of work that you find most meaningful. We'll take care of the practice end of things: dealing with insurance/billing, marketing, and maintaining EMR.
Midcoast Counseling Group is a remote practice, allowing you to live where you like in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts. You only need high speed internet, a functioning computer, and a professional, quiet space. There may be some in-person opportunities that you may choose to participate in or not.
Clinical Support
The clinicians at Midcoast Counseling Group offer an optional, monthly consultation to clinicians. Private practice can be isolating, so we strive to connect as often as possible to discuss challenging cases, clinical availability, etc. Outside of this consultation, the owner of the practice is always available to respond to questions or for a 1:1 consult.
